Ashley Gebhardt

I recently graduated from Ohio University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, a minor in Business Administration, and a certificate in Human Resource Management. Throughout my academic and professional experiences, I’ve developed a strong interest in the connection between people, business strategy, and organizational operations.

Through internships in both municipal government and manufacturing, I have gained hands-on experience supporting onboarding, recruiting, compliance, HRIS operations, employee communication, and records management amongst a team of HR professionals. These opportunities have allowed me to better understand how HR practices directly influence employee experience, workplace culture, and overall organizational effectiveness. I’ve especially enjoyed working in environments where I can combine problem-solving, communication, and organizational strategy to support both employees and business goals.

In Fall 2026, I will begin Ohio University’s One-Year MBA program as  hope to work towards a long-term career in strategic human resources and organizational leadership. This portfolio highlights the experiences, projects, writing, and professional growth that have shaped my journey so far, and I’m excited to continue learning and growing in the field.
