Server & Server Assistant

In my role as a Server and Server Assistant, I worked in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, ensuring smooth operations while providing high-quality service to every guest. I was responsible for taking orders, delivering meals, assisting with table setup and cleanup, and coordinating closely with kitchen staff to maintain accuracy and timeliness. This hands-on experience allowed me to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.

Collaboration and teamwork were central to this role. I worked alongside servers, assistants, and management to handle busy shifts, adapt to last-minute changes, and ensure all guests received prompt and attentive service. Through these interactions, I developed strong communication skills, learned to anticipate the needs of both team members and customers, and practiced problem-solving under pressure.

Working directly with customers strengthened my ability to interact professionally and empathetically. I learned how to manage expectations, resolve issues efficiently, and create a positive dining experience, even in high-stress situations. At the same time, coordinating with peers taught me the importance of supporting colleagues, sharing responsibilities, and contributing to a cooperative and productive team environment. T​his experience heavily shaped how I interact with clients, collaborate with peers, and approach teamwork.
